Lateral and vertical suspension files realized with strong riveted suspension bars
Lateral suspension files are suspended in rows from shelves or rails in lateral filing vertical carousels, mobile shelving or cabinets.
Hanging files of Pull-out drawers also called vertical suspension files, run front-to-back in a 3 or 4 drawer cabinet; they are accessed from above, the indexing tab is on the top edge to label the file.
“V” base Suspension Files are the most space efficient filing solution, but the contents can rise and catch on the drawer/row above, if they are overfilled.
For very thick files in a lateral suspension system, we suggest to use polypropylene 12″ drop ‘V’ base suspension files.
You must make sure that the distance between suspension filing rows is at least 12″ (305mm)
